We've lots of fun and rewarding volunteering opportunities to choose from!

We have a variety of roles in the café from serving our lovely customers to helping with washing up and the end of day close up & clean. It's a really rewarding role and a great way to see firsthand the difference we're making as you'll be working alongside the beneficiaries we're supporting.

Are you a star baker or would you like to learn a new skill?

We proudly bake everything inhouse with the highest quality Fairtrade ingredients. From mouth-watering cheese scones to heavenly chocolate brownies and rocky road, our team of talented bakers have got it covered!

We're passionate about raising awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking. So many people don't realise that sadly slavery is still a huge issue in the modern world. Educating people plays such a huge part in tackling the issue as victims are rescued when people know how to spot the signs of slavery and trafficking.

Here at Just-Ice we love to speak at community events about our work and the issue of modern slavery. If you're enthusiastic and passionate we'd love you to join our team of event speakers. Full training will be given and we won't throw you in at the deep end!

Do you love the open road?

Our delicious ethical ice cream is made on site by our partners at Just-Ice Derby. We have a great team of drivers who make the trip to Derby to make sure our freezers in Poynton are full of scrumptious flavours.

We'll happily revitalise you with a refreshing ice cream or drink at both ends of your journey! A clean driving licence is required and we provide the vehicle and insurance.

Do you have a passion for teaching?

During their time at Just-Ice our beneficiaries learn new skills, which builds their confidence and helps them to find future employment. It is so empowering for these people to know they're now in control of their own destiny.

We're looking for patient and gentle people to join our support team and help with English as a Second Language tuition, basic digital skills tuition, and careers skills such as CV writing, job research and job application writing.

No previous experience is necessary. We can guarantee you have skills, patience and knowledge to offer!

As a charity, Just-Ice relies on support from Foundations, Trusts and corporate partners. We are a profit-for-purpose enterprise, meaning all our profits are reinvested with the aim of supporting the most vulnerable individuals in society. The money Just-Ice receives goes directly to the beneficiaries through the salary they earn whilst working for us.

We're looking to build a team to research opportunities and contact potential partners who can support the important work we're undertaking. Please do get in touch if you'd like to be a part of this exciting new venture!

As a busy ice cream café, we get through a lot of aprons, tea towels and dish cloths! Fortunately, we have an amazing laundry team who keep us looking clean and presentable!

Why not treat yourself to a complimentary ice cream or hot drink and put your feet up when dropping off our clean laundry? The café team are so grateful for your hard work and would love to treat you!

We are proud to support the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and help young people gain experience in the workplace. Volunteering at Just-Ice is a great way to learn new skills and work towards your silver or gold Duke of Edinburgh Award as part of a friendly team. Shifts are around 1.5 hours long on a weeknight after school or college, helping tidy and clean the cafe at the end of the day.
